pairs and points
I only do USDAA is there a way to add your pair partner for Pair Q's
and how do I enter points for Snooker and Gamblers.
other wise enjoying putting in my dogs Q's and nice to sort them by class so I can see how many of what she has.
thanks !
I put the points in the score
I put the points in the score but it comes up with a decimal point.
Never mind
found the parnter :)
The score field is meant to
The score field is meant to hold your score, so in Standard that is typically faults, or in AKC 100 - faults. And for games your score would be how many points you got in gamblers or snooker or whatever. Yes it allows for a decimal field to be most flexible.
Yes as you saw there is a partner field, I believe it is the last field on the page.
Titles
Is there a way to track titles with this program?
Yes and no
In the latest update I added in cumulative Points and Double Qs for AKC. I plan on expanding the reporting capabilities so it give you some sort of cumulative Q report for different classes, etc. Then you can easily see what you need for your next title. iLog supports about 20 venues, so any kind of automated title tracker is not going to happen anytime soon. But what have planned I think you will find very useful.
Hope that answered your question.
time and SCT
I do not like the scroll wheel for entering time and sct, it was so much easier to just type in the numbers.
Yes I'm going to revert it
Yes I'm going to revert it back to the old way in the next update.
when I entered my dog for the
when I entered my dog for the first time, I put in the total # of MACH points he had, but when I started to add info for trials, it changed and only calculates from the info I've just put in. It won't let me go back and add to the total to get the correct # of points.
any ideas, short of going back and adding every trial?
thank you
MACH point fields
There are two point fields. One that you can enter some number into, for example how many points you had before you started using iLog. And the second field is a calculated field that totals up the MACH points for the records you have entered. On my todo list is to customize that field so you can specify a date range, for example seeing how many more points you need to qualify for nationals.
Import records?
Will there eventually be a way to import previous trial data such that all my dogs' records could be in the app?
Import records
Yes there will be. It is needed for people with multiple devices like an iPad and iPhone.Maybe in the next month or two.
syncing with the web based log
Any idea when we can sync with the web based program?
Eventually sync with web based iLog
Eventually I want to sync with this website, but there is a lot of involved with setting that up. So it is on the back burner for now. There are other features I'd like to get done first. Like more reports on and graphs of results.
Importing records
Is there a way to export the web based information?
web export
No not yet. Probably once I get the iPhone app syncing data with this website.
yps
Hi
I was just imputing AKC standard runs and noticed that the yps does not subtract the 5 seconds from the table count so the yps is incorrect,
thank you
YPS & table
Well there are certainly two ways of computing yards per second. I could definitely make it an option in settings to choose between the two methods. I went by the document for AKC World Team Tryouts that states:
Note: To compute the YPS, take the yardage for your dog’s jump height and divide it by the dog’s actual running time. In the standard class, do not alter the dog’s actual time for the table count (this is already factored in).
Example: Yardage = 182 yards. Dog’s actual time = 53.69 seconds YPS = 3.39
