iLog 3.2 Update Oct 1 Graphs!

Another update in as many weeks!! Dog Agility iLog now does performance graphs. So you pick your dog, class (Standard or Jumpers), and a Goal and it plots your yards (meters) per second. Really cool. This could be scratching the surface as far as what is possible for statistical analysis. If you have any ideas let me know.

NEW in 3.2.0 (Oct 1, 2011) -

  • Added Graphs page that graph your performance for Standard and Jumpers classes over time.
  • Reordered the fields in Agility Record to more logical groupings.
  • On Agility Record list view , replaced Time with Level.
  • Expanded the data displayed on the iPad in the Agility Record list view.
  • Moved the "Back" button from the bottom bar to the top Navigation bar for the Agility Record list and Dog list.
  • Changed 1st Dog Time to be Decimal Keyboard instead of Picker.
  • Added pre iLog QQs field and a total QQ field that combines pre iLog QQs and iLog QQs.
  • Added Registration Number for 10 organizations in the Dog database.

iLog 3.0.2

Dog Agility iLog 3.0.2 was just release today. It feature a new top level view controller that greatly speed up app launch times and gets rid of the problem some people had of iLog crashing on launch.

iLog 3.0.1

I made a small change to iLog. In 3.0 I made the time entry screen a scrollable picker, but based on some emails I got people said that it was easier to type in their time. So 3.0.1 reverts back to the original way of entering your time. Guess I was getting a little too fancy.

Please review iLog

It kind of serves as positive reinforcement (click) when people write kind reviews of Dog Agility iLog on the iTunes store. Which makes me want to add more features to iLog. Here is the link to the iLog on iTunes. You can actually write a new review every time a new update comes out. iTunes typically doesn't display reviews of older versions. I would greatly appreciate it.

If you have something that is really bothering you, it is best just to email me directly using the Support link up top. If you write a mean spirited 1 star review, this does typically won't help you much. Firstly because I have no way of contacting you or responding to whatever your problem is. Secondly it functions like negative reinforcement for the developer. Making me want to raise the price of the app and not work on whatever feature you want added to iLog.

Snooker Super Q

Snooker was always one of my favorite classes. One of the few classes you go head to head with your friends and try to out do them. From this email:

I was recording my Snooker results in my iLog, at a USDAA trial, and there was no place to record my Super Q. Perhaps SQ can be added to the Q list.

It seems I left out the option to indicate that you earned one of those coveted Super Qs. That is a thing of the past, keep a look out for the updated version.

USDAA Team Runs

Thanks to this email:

Can you look to add team as choice of class for usdaa in iLog? Or way to indicate Team? Or, if you choose other, can you have space to add what other is?

You can now indicate if a run in USDAA dog agility is a Team or Tournament run. Keep the input coming I want to make this the best app out there for logging your results at dog agility trials.
